20"x16"
Acrylics on Archival 100% Cotton Paper
Rich in texture and saturated with a brilliant, Matisse-inspired palette, this captivating piece celebrates the warmth of a curated home and the loyalty of our favorite companions.
A soulful pup commands the room from a plush armchair wrapped in a bold, rose-patterned chintz. Resting in the lower left corner, a custom needlepoint cushion adds a punch of tactile irony with the stitched phrase: "I am not for everyone." Every corner of the canvas hums with visual rhythm, from the dynamic chevron patterns framing the fireplace to the stacked bookshelves, the fireplace lined with Staffordshire spaniel figurines, fresh tulips, and a vintage party artwork hanging on the wall.
With its brilliant palette, movement, and designer details, this piece is an intentional statement on individuality, proving that the spaces we inhabit are at their best when they are beautifully and unapologetically distinct.
